$$$ vs. Nutrition
Price Comparison
|
 |
|
Dare to Compare!!!
You need to
READ
your feed tags.
Be careful, you might just fall off you chair when you realize how much
commercial feed your horse
needs
to eat in order
to get the nutrition
cited on the tag.
Now, compare the prices of a commercial performance feed
vs.
HorseSense and our popular Safe 'n' Sweet Feeds.
We think you will agree...
pound for pound, we offer more nutrition at a lower cost.
And the added value of our flame-roasted grains?
Priceless.

Hopefully, no one actually feeds their horse
11 pounds of grain per day as suggested on
many commercial horse feed tags for an 1100 pound horse,
but that's what actually is
required to match the nutritional values
provided on their feed tags. And, in most cases,
the nutritional values provided in
HorseSense A
or Sweet 'n'
Safe, exceed those of the leading commercial
feeds, pound for pound.
Ask yourself: Does your horse get a scoop in the
morning and a scoop for dinner? Well, 2 scoops
translates into approximately 4 to 6 lbs. per day.
That
brings the cost per month down to a comparable level
($59.40/mo. at 5.5 lbs./day), but then your horse is
only getting 1/2 the nutrition cited on the tag.
The Bottom Line:
With
Sweet 'n' Safe and
HorseSense A, along with our
full line of
Px Ultra
Performance and
HorseSense
nutritionally complete feeds, you will be feeding less
grain (as recommended by your Vet), while enjoying the
benefits of roasted grains, which are more nutritious,
safer, healthier, and great tasting.
Nutritional supplements are not required with
these feeds. A minimum of 2 lbs. forage or hay is
required daily, and horses should have access to water
and white salt separate from their feed tubs. A ration
of oats is optional as an energy source.
