Are You Adding Supplements to Your Feed?

There was a time when Mid-Atlantic soils were rich in minerals and yielded grasses and legumes that were rich in the same. But 300 years of farming have largely depleted the minerals found in our soils, reducing the quality of forages and feed grains and necessitating the fortifying of today's horse feeds with minerals and additional vitamins.

If you are adding vitamins, minerals and amino acid supplements to your feed, you can now stop! In fact, adding to the HorseSense diet can adversely impact on the balance that we work so hard to create.

If you are currently supplementing, you may have already created an imbalance in your horse. Each mineral in a horse's diet is connected to and interacts with the other minerals. Too much or too little of any one mineral can throw the entire mineral spectrum out of balance.

With HorseSense, the only supplements tht you need to add are...

  • Salt (non-mineral white salt blocks)

  • Mir-a-Chrome

  • Forage

  • Energy Source, as required
